jsguitar TW-I have very little experience with the flyrod . The rod is 8' and the line is a Double taper 6 weight.I tie in a length of 10# test mono for a leader and then graduate down to to a 2# test tippet by attaching a length of 4# test line.Leader and tippet equal the length of Flyrod.
