Comment: Anglers fishing along weed lines with soft plastics and topwaters do best. A 12-15" slot-length limit went into effect in 2001. Anglers should consider keeping bass less than 12" in order to improve the average size of bass. Fishing should be good for 6-8 inch bluegill and redear sunfish. Target these fish along shorelines and near the boat launch from April through June. Channel catfish are stocked annually and should provide good angling for fish up to 20 inches.
