Fun At A-1 6/24/12

Me and my buddy Dave P took the kayaks out for our 1st trip too A-1 this year.Water was low and unbelievably clear.Dave started things of on his 3rd cast with a 2 pounder and a 3 pounder with his 5th.Took me a bit too catch up but i ended the day with 17 bass(11 keepers 6 dinks) and Dave had 9 keepers,we each had a couple in the 3 pound range.

Geez didn't even think of that I am mostly shore bound do they have the dike all blocked off?

if you obey signs that say NO TRESSPASSING then the ramp is closed,if you dont feel free to use the ramp i do.Been told by locals that you can't use the ramp when the guys are working there,i only go on Sundays so no chance of anyone working.

I bet the fishing is great there now that the boat ramp has been closed for a couple of years.
