Have you fished at Ewing City Lake ? Be the first to comment on this fishing spot.
Ewing City Lake is located approximately 15 miles from US61. Take Highway 6 at the Edina / Taylor exit off of US61. Go west toward Edina. At Ewing take Route C to the lake road entrance on left outside of town. Regulations prohibit the usage of gas engines. The lake is maintained for the area water filtration / supply. There are no posted fishing regulations. Assume that statewide regulations exist. There is a concrete ramp and adequate parking if conscious of other boaters. You will find that Ewing City Lake has a very unique design. There are plenty of brush piles and letdowns for pinfish and an abundance of small size bass. There are however many points with small coves with deep water. The area is really clean and well maintained. The water stays clear most year around and there are patches of dense vegetation none of which grows entirely to the surface. The lake also has a fresh water source flowing from a natural spring on the levy. There is little to no traffic on the lake and lots of fish to be caught. It is a peaceful area to watch local wildlife and relax. Quality bank fishing.
