Blue Springs Lake Description
Located in Jackson County's Flemming Park. From I-470 exit East on Woods Chapel Road., Bowlin Road., or 40 HWY. Blue Springs is a 720 acre lake located in Blue Springs and Lee's Summit Missouri. There are 6 picinic shelters, swimming beach, primitive bicking/hicking trails and marina. Blue Springs is operated Jackson County Parks and Recreation. Boat rentals available through Jackson County at the Blue Springs Lake Marina. No ice fishing is allowed and additional regulations apply. A County permit is required to launch a boat. The ramp east of Woods Chapel Road is for canoes, kayaks, and other small boats.
